Description

With Living Seeds’ organic Rainbow Swiss chard seeds, you can bring colour and variety to your vegetable patch. This colourful mix of different Swiss chard varieties delights with vibrant stems in shades of pink, yellow, orange and red – a real eye-catcher that retains its intense colour even after cooking. Thanks to the plants’ hardy and vigorous growth habit, they can be successfully grown in a vegetable patch, a raised bed or a balcony planter. Sow the seeds directly into the ground or start them off in trays – from February to June and again from September to November. You can even sow Swiss chard in trays during winter, allowing you to harvest fresh vegetables all year round. The ideal germination temperature is 18–20 °C. Use the young leaves raw in salads, sauté the stalks as a colourful side dish, or prepare them just like spinach. Mangold Rainbow also adds variety and healthy vitamins to your plate in quiches, bakes or as a filling for pasties. With these organic seeds, you’re choosing sustainable cultivation and supporting biodiversity in your garden.
