Description

With the organic Red Salad Bowl from Living Seeds, you’ll bring colour and freshness to your garden and onto your plate. The deep burgundy-red, delicately lobed leaves not only look impressive but also delight with their mild, nutty flavour. Sow the seeds in trays from January to July and transplant the sturdy young plants outdoors from March onwards. This will ensure a continuous harvest from May to October. The variety grows quickly, remains bolting-resistant for a long time and is ideal for colourful salad mixes, sandwiches or as a decorative garnish. Germination is particularly reliable at a temperature of 15–18 °C. Enjoy crisp, fresh produce from your own garden – completely chemical-free, as the seeds are certified organic. Whether in a raised bed, a balcony planter or a traditional vegetable patch: this oak leaf lettuce makes getting started with organic gardening a breeze.
