Carefully brewed and dry-fermented, it surprises the beer connoisseur right from the first sip with its delicate, fruity notes. Its clear yellow colour reflects the richness of the malt from the rugged Waldviertel region and the golden hue of Hochland blossom honey. With every sip, its exceptional provenance becomes more apparent: Honey aromas increasingly caress the beer connoisseur’s nose and palate. Hochland Honey Beer should not be served too cold – between 10 and 12 degrees – if its full range of flavours and aromas is to be appreciated. Hochland Honey Beer is a special beer: serve it in the special Hochland honey glass. Much like fine wine, it requires plenty of contact with air to fully develop its honey notes. Unlike ordinary beers, it gains character the longer it is left in the glass. Hochland Honey Beer is fermented with bottom-fermenting yeast and thus resembles the light beers from Austria in flavour.
