Description

With Living Seeds’ organic Principe chickpea seeds (13.6g), you can bring one of the most nutrient-rich pulses straight into your garden. This hardy plant stands out for its feathery foliage and attractive white, ribbed flowers, which are not only a visual highlight but also attract bees and other beneficial insects. Easy to grow, the chickpea thrives reliably even in dry conditions and requires little care. For sowing, it’s best to choose a sunny spot and sow the seeds directly from May to June. The ideal germination temperature is between 18 and 25 °C. After a few weeks, you can look forward to a bountiful harvest from July to September. Freshly harvested chickpeas are excellent in salads, stews, curries or as a base for homemade hummus. They’re also a treat when roasted as a snack. With these seeds, you’re choosing organic quality and supporting sustainable farming. Chickpeas not only enrich your cooking but also improve the soil for subsequent crops thanks to their ability to fix nitrogen. So you benefit in several ways: from healthy, tasty pulses and fertile garden soil.
