You won’t notice the difference between your normal knickers and our period knickers, as they feel just as cosy and soft. What’s more, made from organic and fair-trade cotton, these knickers aren’t bulky at all. The briefs feature multiple layers, offering you high-level leak protection and preventing any seepage.

After use: Please rinse the erdbeerwoche period underwear in cold water, then machine wash it at up to 60 degrees. In the interests of sustainability (and to ensure they last as long as possible), we recommend selecting a slightly lower temperature (40 degrees). Please do not tumble dry. If your briefs are heavily soiled, you can pre-treat them with a mild stain remover and soak them in lukewarm water before putting them in the wash. A handy tip: a splash of soda water helps to remove dried-on blood. To prevent colour transfer, it’s best to let your briefs air-dry briefly after washing them in cold water before adding them to your machine wash.

Leak protection: The leak protection integrated into the briefs consists of 3 layers:
1 layer of membrane = made from 100% polyester and a 100% PUR coating.
1 layer of Vlieseline (100% PES: this is a certified synthetic material for textiles that absorbs liquid well and prevents leakage.)
1 layer of cotton

To preserve the protection offered by your period briefs, please do not use a tumble dryer or fabric softener. Ideally, you should also use an eco-friendly detergent without optical brighteners or other harsh ingredients.

…that it takes up to 30,000 litres of water to produce one kilo of cotton? No chemicals or pesticides are used in the production of our organic cotton, and it uses more than half as much water as conventional cotton.

By the way: Our period briefs are manufactured exclusively within the EU. The fabric is knitted in Albstadt, Germany, and the final production also takes place in the Allgäu region. Seamstresses at a ‘fair trade’ company in Romania then sew the briefs. This means we have extremely short transport routes and therefore lower CO₂ emissions. So, from the cultivation of the organic and fair trade cotton right through to processing, you get a top-quality product!
