The bouquet combines fresh, light yellow pome fruits, primarily Delicious apples but also juicy Williams pears. These are complemented by meadow herbs and a subtle hint of spicy tobacco notes. This is truly authentic Veltliner and whets the appetite for the first sip. The wine has great tension, enormous juiciness and a casual drinkability. It is focused, precise and has a long finish. Its firm core also gives it ageing potential.
