“The perfect drink when you’re not drinking” – unlike the three internationally award-winning organic gins, Rick Free is not a gin, as this designation requires by law an alcohol content of at least 37.5 per cent. However, Rick Free is a perfect base for many non-alcoholic cocktails and long drinks. Rick Free, a complex, citrus-forward distillate, was not developed for drinking neat. Tasting notes: The top notes are dominated by orange and grapefruit with lemony undertones, as well as fresh and robust notes of juniper; the finish features subtle hints of ginger and pepper. Non-alcoholic spirits are booming; the market for ‘enjoyment without alcohol’ is growing inexorably. Rick Spirit GmbH is responding to this trend and has unveiled a non-alcoholic distilled spirit at Bar Convent Berlin, the largest trade fair for spirits, which attracted 14,000 trade visitors. “It’s been a success – the who’s who of the international bar and drinks industry is enthusiastic about Rick Free,” says Patrick Marchl, MBA, CEO of Rick Spirit GmbH.
