Why does READY FOR RED exist?

A survey of 1,100 young people in April 2017 showed that, for most young people, the female menstrual cycle remains a major taboo subject. This results in a lack of knowledge about the causes and treatment options for period pain, as well as the health and environmental impacts of period hygiene, and, not least, the isolation of girls during their periods.
