Description

With Living Seeds’ organic lemon basil seeds, you can bring fresh, aromatic variety to your garden or balcony. This annual, heat-tolerant plant delights with its sweet, lemony flavour and adds a special touch to salads, iced tea, Asian dishes or desserts. Sow the seeds from March to May in nutrient-rich soil and maintain a germination temperature of between 20 and 25 °C. After the last frosts, you can transplant the sturdy young plants into the open ground. Regularly snipping off the flowers ensures that the leaves remain tender and aromatic and that the plant grows bushy. Enjoy the harvest from June to October and use the fresh leaves straight away or freeze them in portion-sized batches. Whether as a topping on tomato and mozzarella, in homemade pesto or as a sophisticated ingredient in lemonades – these organic seeds open up countless possibilities for creative, healthy cooking.
