Bock’n Roll is an amber-coloured strong beer with a balanced, full body, a fine, creamy head, and a tart and spicy finish. This speciality is brewed for the slightly cooler months of the year and is therefore available from November until the end of April. It is often enjoyed during the Christmas season as an alternative to mulled wine, as a Christmas present, and as a beer to accompany the Christmas dinner. Incidentally: during Lent in the Middle Ages, monks used to drink up to 5 litres of Lenten beer a day as a substitute for solid food. Style: Strong beer
