WHAT IS IT? Granted, it's a small lie that this honey is made from real acacias. It actually is made from the Black Locust. But in Austria it's what we call this kind of honey. Apart from that, it does not change anything about its delicious taste. It is very mild and pleasantly unobtrusive, just like the first days of spring. The flowers of the False Acacia are one of the first to attract bees after winter.
WHAT DOES IT HAVE? Very fine aromas of almond, pear and vanilla. But as I said, not too intense, but just right. With the springlike taste also comes its springlike look. Friendly bright and with a slight green nuance.
WHAT CAN IT DO? Because of its mild taste it is ideal for refining sauces and vinaigrette.
