Vulcano's tasty sausage products are being manufactured in the heart of Austria's lovely region „steirisches Vulkanland“ according to very strict quality criteria by Vulcano, a true family enterprise.
A unique and rich taste along with a long maturation process and the sole use of the Vulcano pig's fine pork is what makes these products really superb and outstanding.
The Vulcano pig is a local and ancient pig race which is being bred appropriate to the species and only fed with hand-picked corn. These pigs are by no means overbred – they are given their time to gain weight slowly which again guarantees high quality meat.
The Salami Klassik is a mild salami, however rich in taste and well-flavoured.
You will love this salami when you enjoy this kind of sausage, but prefer one which is not really that hot or too spicy.
The sausage is made from very high quality pork and mildly seasoned with fine Mediterranean herbs – an almost irresistible and truly mouth-watering combination.
