For one bottle of Hämmerle Elderberry noble brandy (42 % vol.) around 70.000 handpicked Austrian elderberries are used. Typical for these purple/black berries is their tartly sweet and sour aroma. The elderberries must not be eaten raw.
This schnapps is best enjoyed at a temperature of 14 - 16 °C.
