Well balanced Merlot, very lordly, dark red colour with purple reflexes. Vanilla aroma on the nose, juicy and full on the palate - a wine with a lot of potential. Not just tradition, but also passion and conviction, that a great glass of wine can brighten up the day. 1996 Birgit Braunstein produced her first wine and had a “perfect moment of luck”. So her logo symbolizes the two initials of her name and an Irish shamrock. The Braunstein wines received several awards over the years, e.g. “One of Top 100s of the world” according to Wine Enthusiast/USA, Gold and silver medal at the IWC-London, Gold and silver medal at the “Challenge Int. du Vin Bordeaux” just to name a few. The vineyard is located at Purbach at the Neusiedler See (lake), one of the most popular wine growing regions in Austria. For more than 3.000 years (since Celts and Romans lived here) the history of the little village is linked to wine. |
