Reddish nutty brown, no head. Sweetish malty aroma. A strong, alcoholic, almost liqueur-like first sip. Very sweet and fruity, with notes of dates and prunes, yet also sharp and spicy due to the strong alcoholic component and the robust backbone provided by the generous hopping. This beer can be served with hearty dishes, sweet desserts (especially chocolate) or as a digestif and a drink to savour.
