Organic emmer is an ancestor of spelled grain. There are some beauties to admire in the field here, such as the black velvet or the white emmer. A spicy spelled grain from the Waldviertel, and it grows right on our farm. Emmer is suitable as flour for bread or cakes, or ground as a grain risotto, with a very spicy taste.

Hulled grain has a natural protective shell, so it is naturally resistant and requires little care. The emmer from Biohof Brenner tastes strong and spicy, these flavors give the dishes an invigorating effect. A separate step removes the husk and the environmentally friendly packaging is filled with the ancient grain.
