Marillenhof-Destillerie-KAUSL
At the end of the Spitzer Graben, where the Wachau World Heritage region disappears into the high plateau of the Waldviertel, lies the Kausl Marillenhof distillery on the old Roman road in Ötz. At the Marillenhof, the Kausl's conjure up home-made, heavenly treats from the sun-ripened fruit. Original Wachau apricots as well as apples, pears, dirndls, heart cherries, elderberries, creepers, peaches, grapes, rowanberries, plums and other rare fruit and berry varieties are processed into specialities. Whether as jam, nectar, brandy or liqueur. Offering ‘pure nature’ of the highest quality is the maxim of the Kausl family business.
