        Heindl—the joy of sweets!

The range of delicious specialities from HEINDL is impressive. If you are a fan of nougat, chocolate, creams and perhaps also high-proof spirits, then you will find products here that you will love. We would especially like to recommend delicacies such as the exquisite saddle of venison and the traditional nut balls. Classics such as our Mozartkugeln and Sissitaler are also popular. HEINDL is also known for combining fruit with chocolate. Here, the delicious raw fruit is particularly worthy of mention - furthermore, orange wedges, jelly fruits and praline specialities such as Habari Coco (coconut), Powidl-Taler or the Süße Fruchtis are also convincing. Simply taste and order!

        The Heindl history

Confiserie Heindl, a traditional Austrian family business, was founded by Walter Heindl Sr. and his wife Maria in 1953 in Vienna's 3rd district. Due to increasing demand, the location was moved to the 23rd district in 1967. In 1987, the sons Walter, master confectioner, and Andreas, master confectioner, took over the company and started to build up their own branch network in Vienna. In the meantime, Confiserie Heindl is represented on all major shopping streets and centres. In 2003, the branch network was expanded to include the two traditional "Nowi" confectionery shops in Graz. On 1 January 2006, the company "Walter Heindl Ges.m.H." took over the well-known wafer specialist "Pischinger" together with the two "United Chocolates" shops in Vienna's city centre. Today, "Confiserie Heindl" operates around 31 confectionery shops throughout Austria, 29 of which are its own branches. Today, Confiserie Heindl is one of the largest Austrian confectionery producers. In 1997, Confiserie Heindl won the Austrian Export Prize and today achieves around 8% of its total turnover in the export sector; the Slovakian, Polish and Japanese markets have been particularly successful. The export successes include products such as "Sissi Taler", "Mozart Kugeln" and "Nasch Herzerl" as well as various gift articles. The philosophy of Confiserie Heindl is: "With tradition and innovation into the future!
