Aloe vera gel is obtained from the water-storing tissues of aloe leaves. The gel is particularly important in natural cosmetics. It is said to have immune-stimulating, cooling and, above all, healing properties. The gel must be strictly differentiated from the completely different resin (yellowish), which also has a completely different effect. The gel is popular for its moisturizing effect, it also soothes irritations and is mainly used for over-stressed skin, such as small wounds, but also e.g. B. after sunbathing for too long.
