Austria is not only a traditional wine country - the Austrians do also like their beer. In world wide comparison Austria is ranked third (behind Czech Republic and Germany) regarding the litres drunken by every citizen (190 litres a year).

Austrian beers such as Schwechater, Stiegl, Ottakringer, Zipfer and Puntigamer are a highlight - one reason might be the use of best mountain water.

Very popular in Austria is also the mix of beer and lemonade - the so called "Radler" (shandy), e.g. with lemons, limes, red currants, raspberry or passion fruit taste.

Another Austrian tradition is the making of schnapps and spirits. Apple, pear or apricots - the list of best spirits is truly long.

Egger, Gösser, Hirter, Kaiser, Ottakringer, Puntigamer, Schwechater, Stiegl, Wieselburger, Weitra Brau, Zipfer or Zwettler - all breweries produce their beer according to national legal guidelines.

Most breweries own their own fountain so only freshest water is used for production - yeast and hop are also carefully chosen. Only this way constant quality and best taste are guaranteed.

Of course we do also offer alcohol free beer. Please note that most beers are available in handy sixpacks or larger 24-pcs.-cartons or of course also in sole cans.

Also our shandies - the great mix of beer and lemonade - is available in many different kinds and very popular when the weather is really hot.
