Manner Wafer Papers are also one of the classics of the Manner company and are suitable for crispy, quick desserts and cakes.

Housewife's cake

Cream 200 g butter, then add 150 g icing sugar and 50 g cocoa. Mix together. Divide the cream into four equal parts. With a knife, spread one of the wafer papers with one of the parts of the cream. Place the second wafer paper onto the mixture and again evenly spread the cream onto the wafer paper, repeat with the third wafer paper. Finish off with the fourth paper and lightly press down on the cake with a flat hand so that the layers stick together. Spread the cream onto the top of the cake. Then sprinkle 30 g of almond slivers or other nuts.
