HEINDL / PISCHINGER

Heindl - the joy of sweets!

The AustrianSupermarket.com proudly presents you one of the most popular producers of chocolates and pralines exclusively on this site. Try a sweet piece of Austria with the fabulous Mozart rounds, the fine Sissi coins or the extraordinary Uhrturm coins.

The assortment of sweets is truly impressive - if you like chocolate, nougat, marzipan and creams you will surely find a lot of products you will like to order at the very moment. We do really recommend specialties as the Rehrücken (deer's back) and delicacies as the nut pieces.

Heindl is especially well known for the combination of fruits (plums, raspberries, strawberries, oranges and many more) with chocolate. The jelly fruits and uncooked fruits with chocolate are simply awesome.

Simply look and image how much your family and friends (and of course yourself) would like to try those sweets!

The Heindl history

The Confiserie Heindl, an Austrian family company, was founded by Walter Heindl and his wife Maria in 1953 in Vienna’s 3rd district. In 1967 due to the continuing rise in demand, the headquarter was transfered to Vienna’s 23rd district and the production was extended.

1987 the sons Walter, confectioner, and Andreas, master patissier, took over the company and established the first Heindl-shop in Vienna. Today Heindl-Shops are located in all important shopping malls and shopping-streets.

In 2003 the company absorbed the traditional candy stores “Nowi” in Graz/Styria. On the 1st of January 2006 the Walter Heindl Ges.m.b.H. took over the well-established wafer-specialist “Pischinger” with it’s two shops in the inner city of Vienna.

Today the Confiserie Heindl runs about 30 exclusive confectionery stores in Austria.
Therefore the Confiserie Heindl is not only one of the largest confectionery retailers in the entire country.

In 1997 the company Heindl won the Austrian Export award and the export shares today amounts up to 8 % of the total turnover. Great successes were made in Japan, Poland and EU-wide with it’s “Sissi Taler”, “Mozart Kugeln” and “Nasch Herzerl” as well as with different gift boxes.
The philosophy of the company Heindl is: “With tradition and innovation in the future!
