AIDA Caprese Torte:

From a centuries old recipe originating on the breathtakingly beautiful Italian island of Capri in the Gulf of Naples, the confectioners at the traditional confectionery AIDA in Vienna bake this unique cake which is very carefully made from the best chocolate and blanched almonds without any flour at all. This delicacy, which is gluten-free, becomes a very special experience for the palate when lightly cooled or warmed for a short time and reminds all those who have been there of the view of Capri's white villas and the red sun sinking below the horizon.

This large version of the AIDA Caprese was dedicated to the famous Italian composer Guiseppe Verdi after whom, and his opera Aida, the "Chocolaterie & Großkonditorei AIDA" was named.

AIDA does not use any chemical preservatives and therefore recommends consuming the cake within 10 days!

We deliver world wide (war regions, some small islands and according to constant delivery and customs problems Turkey, Russia, Thailand, Iraq, Iran, the Gaza strip and the Ukraine are excepted).

Cost of transport

Deliveries in Austria and to Germany are free of any delivery cost as soon as the good’s value exceeds 99 Euro (until 20 kg, then € 6,90 in Austria and € 9,90 in Germany are charged for every 20 kilos). The delivery cost depends on the weight and the country of delivery – you may find them out easily by yourself. Simply put the items you wish to purchase in your shopping cart and change the country of delivery. This way you see your total before you even have to register and enter any personal information.

Ban on imports

Please keep in mind, that we deliver our sausage and bacon specialties only within EU borders. Unfortunately it is not possible to ship alcohol to the USA or Canada (in Australia customers might have to pay customs for alcohol – also only a small number of bottles for personal consumption is allowed to be imported).
